Works perfectly and don't have to worry about machine not booting up properly. Just plugged it in and Windows 7 automatically detected it and set up all the drivers. I bought a wired Xbox 360 controller for my PC instead. Yikes that sounds like a hassle - the part about the computer not booting up sometimes if the receiver is plugged in.
